Congratulations to Barry Long who has recently passed his PhD viva in the group!

As well as that, Barry has been awarded the BOC Bursary. This  is awarded to a postgraduate student deemed to have made significant and outstanding contributions to CS during their postgraduate studies.

Barry has also been awarded the SSPC’s Industrial Placement of the Year award (pictured). Barry spent several months at MSD, Ballydine working on spray drying at an industrial level.
